Model 40614 - Paediatric Positioner Pad set
20 x 9 x 2" Pad 50.8 x 22.9 x 5cm
This pad set is a multi-purpose positioning unit designed to position and protect newborns and toddlers during a variety of procedures. The set consists of a rectangular shaped pad with an indented channel in the center to allow for chest expansion, a paediatric horseshoe pad, and 2-cylindrical positioning tubes. Suggested utilisation of the set are: place pad flat, without tubes to prevent the patient from rolling, while in supine. By placing one tube under pad at thoracic area, the chest will remain extended for anterior chest procedures. With small tube under pad at the thorax and large tube under pad at sacrum, access for posterior supine cases such as spinal tumor resection is optimum. |
