MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® Thermal Pads

Placed beneath the patient, the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® thermal pads allow unrestricted access to the surgical field and reduce pressure thanks to an integrated layer of 3D spacer fabric. Additionally, fluid accumulation on the surface of the thermal pad is minimized.

In combination with the warming blankets and warming mats of the MOECK WARMING SYSTEM®, its powerful performance helps maintain a contact surface temperature closely aligned with the patient’s normothermia. The MOECK WARMING SYSTEM® is based on the use of convective air transfer from a warm air device and different models of reusable textile thermal blankets such as thermal pads.

During use, the air tempered by the warm air device is directed through one or two flexible hoses [2] into the interior of the respective connected heating blanket or heating pad. Carefully selected materials for the textile medical products ensure an even and uniform distribution of the supplied air — even under the patient, so that the patient is effectively warmed according to the desired setting on the warm air device.
