Kanmed’s BB-Cord® supports the vision of zero separation, a family-centred approach that advocates newborns should be accompanied by their parents regardless of the type of birth or health status. Besides allowing babies to remain close to their mothers during the critical moments after birth, BB-Cord® enables delayed cord clamping (DCC) in the delivery room, which supports optimal neonatal health.
BB-Cord® combines cutting-edge technology with a user-friendly design, giving healthcare staff the best possible conditions in which to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations. The flexible and adaptable structure of the BB-Cord® table allows for seamless integration into delivery room settings. This ensures a newborn can receive immediate care, whilst staying connected to their mother.
Designed for easy cleaning, BB-Cord® is height adjustable, along with being simple and easy to move around. Optional extra accessories, such as oxygen and air canister holders or accessory poles, can be added as required. The table’s platform has raised edges and can be easily extended or rotated sideways. Kanmed’s BB-Cord® can be used with the Kanmed Baby Warmer system, to reduce the risk of hypothermia.
