The walls of the VARIOTHERM infant care system can be folded up and down by one hand. Cables and hoses can be passed and fixed through openings or grommets easily.
The concave shaped sides of the patient deck and the safety side walls prevent the patient from falling out of the bed when the walls are folded-down. For an unimpeded access to the patient, the safety walls can be retracted into the patient deck completely.
