Central Medical Supplies Appoints New Regional Account Manager

Central Medical Supplies (CMS) has appointed Ed Mathews as a new Critical Care Regional Account Manager, covering the South East of England. CMS is renowned for supplying critical care equipment to the NHS and private sector acute hospitals.

Ed joins CMS from B Braun Medical Ltd, where he was an Associate Sales Specialist. In his new role Ed will be responsible for managing customers across critical care, A&E and anaesthesia units, in both the NHS and private sector. He will be responsible for building relationships with clinicians, procurement teams and ICS leads, to drive growth. Ed will identify new business opportunities and collaborate with clinical specialists to carry out product trials and demonstrations.

Commenting on what attracted him to CMS and his new role, Ed Mathews says: “I was attracted by the culture at CMS and felt, from my interactions with the management team, I would fit in well within the CMS family. I wanted to specialise within one area and critical care gives me the chance to do so while still engaging with hospital theatres and wards. I’m looking forward to bringing innovative solutions to everyday problems faced by NHS teams.”

Products within the CMS critical care portfolio include the Swabsafe™ swab management system, along with patient temperature management devices, warming cabinets, fluid warmers and pressure relief positioners.
