Central Medical Supplies (CMS) has been appointed the UK distributor for QinFlow Warrior blood and IV fluid warmers. The QinFlow modular systems deliver high performance and safe warming, are simple to operate and easy to maintain. A key feature of QinFlow Warrior products is how they uniquely deal with rapid intermittent infusion methods, such as push/pull, hand pump or hand-operated rapid infusers.
QinFlow modular warmers can be used in a variety of clinical settings, including pre-hospital, hospital emergencies, surgery and ICU. They are also suitable for a wide range of patients, including paediatrics. The flexibility and adaptability of products in the QinFlow range means they can be used in the most appropriate combination for the situation. The QinFlow system is designed to help eliminate the challenges of warming blood and IV fluid from the entire continuum of emergency care so that emergency care professionals can focus on saving lives.
CMS will be offering the QinFlow Warrior lite, Warrior lite Hybrid, Warrior lite AC and the Warrior AC Station. Warrior lite is a compact and lightweight system. The size and weight of this warmer make it ideal for use in space and weight restricted situations, such as in resuscitation rooms, accident and emergency departments and ICUs. The Warrior lite can warm near freezing blood to body temperature in just a few seconds, from Keep Vein Open (KVO) infusion at up to 180mL/min and room temperature blood at up to 270mL/min.
The QinFlow Warrior lite offers two battery options for optimal operational fit. The large ‘extra power’ battery is designed to deliver up to six units of cold-stored whole blood or up to 5 litres of room temperature fluids. The small ‘lite’ battery is designed to deliver approximately half of this capacity. Both batteries can adequately support a warming speed of less than three minutes for a cold-stored whole blood unit. The ‘extra power’ battery is ideal when there is a requirement for warming an exceptional volume of blood or fluids, such as during intra-hospital transport and events with multiple critically injured casualties.
The QinFlow Warrior lite Hybrid provides both battery and AC-operated blood and IV fluid warming options. This makes it an ideal solution for emergency departments, trauma units and integrated healthcare systems. The Warrior lite Hybrid features a seamless transition between AC power and battery modes.
The QinFlow Warrior lite AC is a compact, high performance yet simple-to-operate blood and IV fluid warmer. It is ideal for surgical suites and intensive care units. If portability is required, the Warrior lite AC can be easily transitioned into a Warrior Hybrid by simply adding a battery.
The Warrior AC Station is designed to operate solely with AC power. Offering high performance, this compact and simple-to-operate warmer is ideal for surgical suites and intensive care units.
