Designed to prevent patient’s arm or leg from extending over the side of the table and to prevent leaning on or against the patient’s extremity. The shield is only sold with the set. Designed to prevent patient’s arm or leg from extending over the side of the table and to prevent leaning on or against the patient’s extremity. Placement of the pad between patient and shield provides protection from direct contact with shield reducing risk of danger from shear or pressure.
